With a fixed beam length from the laser to the part, there is rarely a need for beam alignment. Further, the accuracy of the laser mode is best with fixed beam. This small footprint machine uses a fixture to load and unload the parts quickly so the cycle time is very short.

As a noncontact cutting device, laser cutting can replace knife trimming thus increasing yield on continuous web products.
